Mantle Tiara Rose (Shady Shadow Chandez x Mistyridge April Star) has a wonderful combination of Waers blood and Lambert morgan bloodlines. She goes back to Criterion on her dam’s side in just 3 generations. She has the action for a show career, and a broad chest and good hip. Unfortunately, she had a shoulder injury some years back and is not considered sound for riding. In free roam and pasture hi-jinks, we have not seen her take a bad step but just have not taken the time to saddle her up. She is a rich chestnut, with flaxen mane and tail.
We bought her in foal to Coal Creek Dallas, of Radtke Ranch / EMR Morgans in 2007. She had a colt, Arctic Ranger (see Stallions page), and certainly passed her action and good looks on to him. She is in foal to Windjammer for 2009 and we are excited to see that cross.
Rose is currently located in Delta Junction, Alaska. She is an excellent broodmare and is broke to ride. She was sold to us as a broodmare only, due to an early shoulder injury. She has not had difficulty in recent years and may be fully sound. However, we have not had the chance to put any miles on her and are therefore pricing her as a broodmare only.
